A stunning Premium graded, Class One performance tested grey stallion standing at 16.3 hands. Trocadero was Reserve Champion of the 1996 Stallion Grading in Neumé»±ster, and achieved a price of 280,000 DM in the 1998 Klosterhof Medingen Auction.

Trocadero completed an outstanding performance test in Warendorf with a total of 125.89 points (overall 3rd place), and was champion of the dressage marks with 142.76 points, including a 10 for character.

In 1997, Trocadero won the Westphalian riding horse championships for three year olds.

Trocadero is a large framed stylish stallion with wonderful type and outstanding conformation. His exceptional temperament and powerful elastic movement ensure that he greatly enriches the reputation of Trakehners.

Trocadero was bred by Jutta Langels in Hamelschenburg. His pedigree combines the genes of two of the leading sires of our times, Mahagoni and Arogno. His sire is the Advanced level dressage champion, Enrico Caruso, who also sired Kostolany, and now resides in the USA. Enrico Caruso made a name for himself as a sire of high performance sport horses. His motherline includes Caprimond's sire Karon and the Grimsel son Falke, from the leading Hamelschenburg lines. His grandmother Thiara produced the super dressage horse Thimur, and his great-grandmother was full sister to the top dressage stallions Tempelritter and Tarim.

Although, due to his dressage career, Trocadero was not used widely as a sire in Germany, several of his daughters there have achieved premium status. His foals impress with their excellent paces and superb Trakehner type. They grow up to be excellent competition horses in all disciplines. In England is daughter, Bluewood Gloriana achieved Premium status and was Reserve Champion of the Performance test.

"Troccy" is a darling in and out of the stable! He was competed by Lisa Hopkins, winning with 71% up to Advanced level. He has a great talent for piaffe and passage and is currently used as a schoolmaster for our children.

In 2009 Trocadero's dam, the Elite mareThirza, along with her daughters Pr.& St.Pr.St. Thalia and Pr. & St.Pr.St. Tavolara became the Champion Family at the regional mare show in Lower Saxony.
